Job summary
Databento, a market data platform for modern finance, seeks a Quantitative Sales Associate to lead the technical sales process, craft data-driven use-cases, and build executive relationships. You will interact with developers and quants, leverage Python/C++/Rust examples, and contribute to forecasting and CRM accuracy in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications
- Understand and communicate with developers and quants.
- Experience with quant trading and market microstructure.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping; automate in HubSpot.
- Professional communication suited to an institutional product.
- White-glove management of the sales cycle with customer buy-in.
- Willingness to work in a startup environment with limited resources.
- Bonus: GitHub usage and knowledge of C++, Python, or Rust.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical sales process, answer inquiries and provide data samples.
- Create examples and use-cases with market data in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Gather customer feedback, testimonials, and case studies.
- Maintain forecasting records and CRM accuracy and organization.
- Build a network of executive relationships across the industry.
- Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategy.
- Collaborate across teams to align sales with company objectives for a seamless client experience.
