Job summary

Databento, a market data platform for modern finance, seeks a Quantitative Sales Associate to lead the technical sales process, craft data-driven use-cases, and build executive relationships. You will interact with developers and quants, leverage Python/C++/Rust examples, and contribute to forecasting and CRM accuracy in a fully remote setup.

Ideal candidates have end-to-end sales experience in quant trading contexts, strong communication, and a readiness to operate in a startup, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate with developers and quants.
• Experience with quant trading and market microstructure.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping; automate in HubSpot.
• Professional communication suited to an institutional product.
• White-glove management of the sales cycle with customer buy-in.
• Willingness to work in a startup environment with limited resources.
• Bonus: GitHub usage and knowledge of C++, Python, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales process, answer inquiries and provide data samples.
• Create examples and use-cases with market data in Python, C++, or Rust.
• Gather customer feedback, testimonials, and case studies.
• Maintain forecasting records and CRM accuracy and organization.
• Build a network of executive relationships across the industry.
• Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategy.
• Collaborate across teams to align sales with company objectives for a seamless client experience.
