Job summary

Databento is hiring a remote Senior Technical Sales Engineer to drive the technical sales process for our market data platform. You will answer customer inquiries, provide data samples, and resolve data-related issues while guiding prospects toward informed buying decisions.

You will craft Python/C++/Rust code examples, gather feedback, maintain forecasting records in CRM, and build executive relationships across the industry to identify opportunities and align sales with company goals.

Qualifications

• Learn and explain market data concepts clearly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in CRM.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales process from inquiries to closure.
• Provide data samples and examples in Python, C++, and/or Rust.
• Gather testimonials, case studies, and feedback from customers.
• Forecast and document sales activities and keep CRM up-to-date.
• Build executive relationships with industry partners and customers.
• Monitor industry trends to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
