Job summary

Heraeus Medevio is seeking an Operations Quality Engineer Co-Op for an 8-month program (May 2027–December 2027) in White Bear Lake, MN. You will work on-site with mentorship from experienced engineers across R&D and Operations, contributing to real-world medical device projects.

The role focuses on quality engineering, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with occasional travel to Fridley, MN. This is an on-site co-op that emphasizes hands-on learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Ability to work full-time onsite during the co-op.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-functional engineering support across the product lifecycle.
• Support inspection, correlation, DOE, PFMEA, GR&R and data analysis.
• Assist with nonconforming material investigations and corrective actions.
• Use SPC/SQS software tools for process monitoring and improvements.
• Join cross-functional quality and production teams in meetings and activities.
• Adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
• Contribute to system implementations and improvements.
