Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in White Bear Lake, MN offers two Process Development Engineering Co-Op positions for an 8-month program (May–Dec 2027). On-site roles with mentorship in R&D and operations, focusing on implantable systems production and process improvement.

The program provides hands-on experience in design, testing, manufacturing, and product development, with opportunities to contribute to real-world projects and gain industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program with a GPA of at least 2.5.
• Ability to work full-time onsite during the co-op duration.
• Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support in development and qualification of new processes and equipment.
• Develop test methods to characterize product performance.
• Assist with coil winding, polymer reflow, laser welding, and other advanced assembly processes.
• Analyze data and write technical documentation to support engineering decisions.
• Support continuous improvement to yields, throughputs, or cycle times.
• Participate in process development team meetings and respond to changing priorities.
• Other duties assigned as required.
