Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in Fridley, MN offers an 8-month Co-Op (May 2027–December 2027) in R&D and Operations engineering. You will work on design, testing, manufacturing, or product development under experienced engineers to contribute to real-world medical device projects onsite.

You will gain hands-on experience while receiving mentorship and exposure to regulatory requirements in the medical device field, with occasional travel to nearby White Bear Lake as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work full-time onsite for the duration of the co-op.
• Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of interventional medical device products.
• Assist with project scope items and required regulatory documentation.
• Help develop test methods to characterize performance outputs.
• Execute tests and quality deliverables to meet design inputs.
• Generate engineering investigation reports from test data.
• Participate in product development team meetings and activities.
• Adapt to changing priorities and additional duties as needed.
