Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op for an 8‑month program (May 2027–December 2027). You will gain hands-on experience across design, testing, manufacturing, and product development while working under experienced engineers on medical device projects.

Responsibilities include supporting tooling design, root cause analysis, and yield improvement, with opportunities to contribute to efficiency and quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical or related engineering program.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work full-time onsite during the duration of the co-op.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to process and tooling improvements to enhance capability, repeatability, quality, and cost using LEAN and Six Sigma methods.
• Assist in new equipment identification, procurement, installation qualification, documentation, and training to expand capacity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to scale processes across manufacturing operations.
• Support quality teams in solving nonconformances, performing root cause analysis, data analysis and trending.
