Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support and lead quality initiatives onsite. You will ensure products, processes, and quality systems meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal expectations across Aerospace, Defense, and Marine lines.

You will drive corrective actions, participate in MRB, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and reliability while traveling up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, quality, or engineering environment preferred.
• Experience with quality systems and automotive/aerospace standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering activities across manufacturing, assembly, testing and inspection.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and customer specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured methodologies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Program Management to improve product quality.
• Develop and implement inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and quality plans.
• Support APQP/PPAP, MRB, and quality records review.
