Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Quality Control Technician for high-precision die casting on the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections, verify GD&T and dimensional conformance, and drive root-cause investigations using structured quality tools.

The role requires 2+ years of HPDC or metal manufacturing experience, commutable distance to Cedarburg, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Solid working knowledge of GD&T and precision measuring instruments.
• Two+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance with GD&T and customer specifications using metrology tools.
• Detect defects, issue containment actions, and document nonconformances.
• Review drawings and control plans; support audits and PPAP activities.
• Drive root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
