Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a high-pressure die casting operation in Cedarburg, WI. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, in a direct-hire role with strong benefits and a 401(k) match.

You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, verify GD&T and dimensional conformity using CMM and hand tools, and support root-cause investigations to drive continuous improvement per ISO 9001 and IATF16949.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM.
• Detect defects and lead containment activities with NCMRs.
• Review drawings and GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Support root-cause investigations and quality audits per ISO 9001/IATF16949.
