Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in Cedarburg, WI is hiring a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift. You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on high-pressure die cast components, verify GD&T conformance, and support root-cause investigations to drive quality improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in HPDC or metal manufacturing, strong blueprint reading, and US work authorization. Competitive pay with benefits and a 2nd shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Stable employment history with 2+ years at each prior employer.
• 2+ years in HPDC or metal component QC.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, WI area.
• US work authorization; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance with drawings, GD&T, and specifications using metrology tools.
• Identify defects, issue NCMRs, and lead containment actions.
• Support audits, PPAP, FAI, and capability studies per ISO/IATF standards.
• Assist root-cause investigations with 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto analyses.
• Participate in LPAs and gauge validations.
