Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections of high-pressure die cast components, verifying GD&T and dimensional conformance with CMM and hand tools.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in HPDC quality roles, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to drive root-cause investigations.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Read engineering drawings and GD&T with precision measuring tools.
• US work authorization and 45-minute commute to Cedarburg, WI.
• Minimum 2+ years tenure at each previous employer.

Aufgaben

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and CMMs.
• Identify defects, issue NCMRs, and lead containment actions.
• Review drawings and GD&T against customer specifications.
• Assist root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Support ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 audits and PPAP activities.
