Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a Quality Control Technician for high-pressure die casting on 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, using CMM and hand tools to verify GD&T conformance.

This direct-hire role offers up to $41/hr, 401(k) match, bonuses, and strong PTO, with a Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule. Ideal candidates have 2+ years HPDC quality experience and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of tenure with previous employers in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• US work authorization; 45-minute commute to Cedarburg, WI.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred in Quality/Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and CMM.
• Identify defects (porosity, misruns, cracks, etc.) and issue NCMRs.
• Review drawings and GD&T per control plans and work instructions.
• Support root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto tools.
• Assist with LPAs, product audits, PPAPs, FAI inspections, and gauge validations.
