Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift at our Cedarburg, WI facility. You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on high-pressure die cast components, verifying GD&T and dimensional conformity with CMM and hand tools.

You will investigate defects, drive root-cause analyses, and support ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality processes, audits, and PPAP activities. Strong tenure history and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications with GD&T knowledge.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components to verify specifications.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges and CMM equipment.
• Identify and contain defects (porosity, misruns, cracks, etc.) and issue NCMRs.
• Interpret production against drawings, GD&T, control plans, and work instructions.
• Drive root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Support audits, PPAP, FAI, capability studies, and gauge validations per ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
