Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift to inspect high-pressure die cast components, verify GD&T, and support defect investigations.

Requires 2+ years in HPDC or metal manufacturing, ability to read drawings, and US work authorization. Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Competitive hourly pay with 401(k) match, bonuses, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2+ years in HPDC or metal manufacturing as a quality technician.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T with precision measuring tools.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI and have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Use precision metrology tools to verify conformance to drawings and specs.
• Identify defects, issue NCMRs, and support containment activities to drive quality improvements.
• Review production against engineering drawings, GD&T, control plans, and work instructions.
• Assist root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Support audits, PPAP, FAI, capability studies, and gauge validations per ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
