Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Quality Control Technician for its Cedarburg, WI facility on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM). You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on high-pressure die cast components, verify GD&T and dimensional conformance, and support continuous improvement.

You must have 2+ years of HPDC quality experience, reside within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, US work authorization, and a high school diploma (associate preferred).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal component manufacturing.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• Fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components to verify customer and engineering specs.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pins, and CMM.
• Detect defects (porosity, cold shuts, flash, etc.) and issue NCMRs with containment actions.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, control plans and work instructions.
• Support root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Assist with LPAs, product audits, PPAPs, FAI, capability studies, and gauge validations.
