Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on high-pressure die cast components, verifying GD&T and maintaining strict quality standards.

Work with CMM and hand metrology tools to support root-cause investigations and continuous improvement, ensuring ISO/IATF adherence and OEM requirements in a stable, long-tenure environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a quality technician in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Able to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications with GD&T knowledge.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI area.
• US work authorization; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Detect and contain defects; issue NCMRs and lead containment actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements against specs.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions using 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto.
• Assist with LPAs, product audits, PPAP, FAI, and gauge validations.
