Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Cedarburg, WI is hiring a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift on a high‑pressure die casting line. You will perform first‑piece, in‑process and final inspections, verify GD&T and perform root‑cause investigations.

Requires 2+ years in HPDC quality, ability to read blueprints, CMM/metrology tools, and US work authorization. Competitive hourly pay up to $41/hr plus 401(k) match, bonuses, and full benefits. Commuting within 45 minutes of Cedarburg is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications with solid GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and metrology equipment.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI and be US authorized to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components to verify exact customer and engineering specifications.
• Verify product conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Identify defects (porosity, misruns, flash, cracks, etc.) and issue NCMRs with containment actions.
• Review technical drawings and GD&T requirements against production data and work instructions.
• Support root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and Pareto Analysis.
• Assist with LPAs, product audits, PPAP activities, FAI inspections, and gauge validations in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 environments.
