ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift at its Cedarburg, WI facility. The role focuses on first-piece, in-process and final inspections of high-pressure die cast components with GD&T verification using CMM and hand tools.

You will investigate defects, drive root-cause analysis, interpret blueprints, and support ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 compliance while working a stable Mon-Fri 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM schedule and enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• US work authorization.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsabilités

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components to verify specs.
• Use precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM) to verify conformance.
• Detect and contain defects, issue NCMRs, and lead containment activities.
• Interpret production against drawings, GD&T requirements, control plans and work instructions.
• Assist root-cause investigations with 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
• Support audits and quality systems (LPAs, PPAP, FAI) per ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
