MDS Staffing in Cedarburg, WI seeks a Quality Control Technician for a 2nd shift role to inspect high‑pressure die cast components, verify GD&T, and support continuous improvement.

You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using CMMs and hand tools, investigate defects, and lead containment activities.

Requirements include 2+ years in HPDC quality, ability to read drawings, GD&T proficiency, and a 45‑minute commute; US work authorization; salary up to $41/hr.

Competenze

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• 2+ years of HPDC or metal component quality experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Detect defects (porosity, cold shuts, flash, misruns, cracks) and lead containment activities.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements; review with work instructions.
• Support root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 audits and PPAP/FAI activities.
