SOLV Energy is seeking a seasoned Quality Leader to oversee SDI project quality for utility-scale solar developments in the U.S. You will mentor teams, review QC plans, and ensure compliance with contract documents and client requirements.

Based within our SDI Services affiliate, you will implement corrective actions, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across installation scopes such as pile installation, racking, and electrical interfaces, ensuring safe, reliable project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years in quality control inspection, solar/construction, or related field.
• Knowledge of solar construction means and methods.
• Experience as a quality control manager or supervisor on large projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs; interpret submittals.
• Proficiency with Procore, Excel, Bluebeam; strong IT skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary quality resource for SDI project teams and ensure quality delivery.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Quality team members.
• Ensure quality control programs, processes, and procedures are applied.
• Review and approve project QC plans; ensure contract compliance.
• Evaluate QC plans for owner contracts and company standards.
• Identify high-risk work areas and oversee QC implementation.
• Review submittals and prepare for pre-construction meetings.
• Conduct inspections and witness tests against specs and drawings.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records and prepare leadership reports.
• Track KPIs and provide quality updates; lead QC trainings.
• Stay current with industry regulations and solar construction standards.
