Job summary

SOLV Energy's SDI Services unit seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead quality programs across utility-scale solar construction projects. You will drive compliance with SDI standards, owner requirements, and industry regulations, coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and leadership to deliver high-quality performance.

Responsibilities include reviewing QC plans, mentoring the quality team, performing inspections and tests, analyzing defects, and reporting KPIs to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years in quality control inspection, solar/construction.
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement tools.
• Experience on utility-scale solar or heavy construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality resource for project and operations teams.
• Review and approve project quality control plans for partners and subcontractors.
• Identify high-risk features and oversee quality implementation.
• Conduct inspections and witness tests to verify conformance.
• Lead internal/external quality assessments and coaching.
