Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced Site Quality Manager to lead QA/QC on a Plymouth, NC project, with travel required. You will implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan, manage inspection teams, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulators. Strong PV, civil, electrical, and mechanical QA/QC expertise is essential.

You will drive continuous improvement, perform root cause analyses, and oversee documentation, audits, and nonconformances in a fast-paced utility-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years in utility-scale solar quality management.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
• Technical knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities at the project level and implement the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP).
• Manage quality inspection teams and act as the primary liaison with client reps, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Develop and oversee the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for the project and enforce QMS standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and NCR/CAPA processing; document findings and track corrective actions.
• Produce quality metrics reports for project leadership and train teams on Sunscreen QA processes.
