Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Quality Control Manager for SDI Services, an affiliate focused on utility-scale solar projects. You will lead quality programs, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with owner requirements and industry standards across multiple projects.

Requirements include a construction/engineering degree and 4–6 years in quality control within solar or heavy construction, plus proficiency with Procore, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, and/or 4-6 years in quality control inspection.
• Understanding solar construction means and methods.
• Experience as quality control manager or supervisor on solar/construction projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and submittals; interpret specs precisely.
• Proficiency with Procore, Excel, Bluebeam, Sunscreen, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality resource for project teams to ensure delivery and compliance.
• Develop and approve project quality plans; monitor execution against requirements.
• Perform inspections and witness tests; review submittals for contract compliance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions with teams.
• Manage quality documents and track KPIs; lead quality trainings and meetings.
• Collaborate with owners, subcontractors and leadership to improve quality outcomes.
