Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead quality assurance across utility-scale solar and related infrastructure projects. This role sits within SDI Services, an SOLV Energy affiliate, and entails hands‑on oversight of quality plans, audits, and subcontractor compliance.

You will drive root-cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and mentor teams to ensure adherence to contract specs and safety standards. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understand solar construction means and methods.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specs, submittals, tolerances, and measurement tools.
• Proven experience as a quality control leader on utility-scale solar or heavy construction.
• Proficiency with Procore, Excel, Bluebeam, Sunscreen, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality resource for SDI project and operations teams.
• Mentor and develop Quality team members.
• Ensure SDI quality programs are implemented effectively.
• Review project submittals for contract compliance.
• Oversee quality metrics, audits, and reporting to leadership and regulators.
