Job summary

Dow's Knoxville, TN facility is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform qualification testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products using advanced laboratory instrumentation. You will enter lab results into SAP, maintain records and issue certificates of analysis.

We seek team players who can work 12-hour rotating shifts, uphold safety and housekeeping standards, and train others in quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with science/engineering coursework or related experience.
• Experience with lab data entry and quality databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special samples.
• Record QC data on lab requests and SAP worksheets.
• Prepare and issue certificates/letters of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and take corrective actions as needed.
• Back-up other analysts and maintain lab housekeeping to high standards.
