Job summary

Dow's Knoxville, TN site is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join a safety‑driven team. You will perform qualification testing on raw materials and in‑process samples, record QC data in SAP, and issue certificates of analysis, while maintaining lab housekeeping and instrument calibration.

In this role you will back up colleagues, support corrective actions, and train teammates on quality procedures. A 12‑hour rotating shift and strong detail orientation are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one of: 2-year science/engineering degree.
• 3 years of relevant military experience.
• 2 years of laboratory experience.
• 2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special request samples.
• Record QC data on lab requests and SAP worksheets.
• Prepare and issue certificates/letters of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and calibration.
• Back-up other analysts and complete housekeeping duties.
