Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Quality Control Analyst for its Knoxville, TN plant. You will perform qualification testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products, record data in SAP, and issue certificates of analysis. The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts and strong attention to lab housekeeping and safety.

You will troubleshoot instruments, maintain test equipment, and train teammates while ensuring compliance with quality procedures. Relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one of: 2-year science/engineering degree; 3 years military experience; 2 years laboratory experience; or 2 years in chemical manufacturing plants.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special samples.
• Test according to written test methods.
• Record QC data on lab requests and SAP worksheets.
• Record/Enter QC data in SAP database system.
• Prepare and issue certificates/letters of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and take corrective actions.
• Provide quality training to team members.
• Back-up other analysts and perform housekeeping duties.
• Monitor the Laboratory boiler/TPA alarm panel and maintain supplies with Lab Leadership.
