Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for its Knoxville, TN laboratory. You will perform qualification testing on raw materials and finished goods, enter QC data into SAP databases, and issue certificates of analysis while maintaining strict safety and housekeeping standards.

You will work with advanced instrumentation, troubleshoot equipment, and provide quality training to team members. A 12-hour rotating shift and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one or more of the following qualifications: college degree, military experience, laboratory experience, or chemical manufacturing experience.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special request samples.
• Test according to written test methods and record QC data.
• Maintain lab housekeeping and organize to high standards.
• Prepare and issue certificates/letters of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and take corrective actions when needed.
• Back-up other analysts and provide training as required.
