Job summary

The Division of Developmental Disabilities within the State of Illinois seeks an experienced administrator to lead the Bureau of Quality Management’s statewide quality assurance and compliance program. You will oversee survey and monitoring activities across providers, serving as liaison to CMS, BALC, and OIG, guiding compliance with HCBS rules.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree, preferably in social or human services.
• Requires four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in health or human services.
• Experience with HCBS settings and CMS reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Quality Management Administrator, develops and organizes activities of staff engaged in an integrated program of quality review and enhancement for service and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Serves as a full-line supervisor.
• Represents the Bureau program functions with the Office, Division and Department staff.
• Monitors the provision of comprehensive technical assistance to agencies evidencing difficulty in meeting standards.
• Directs the monitoring of individual and agency records and engages in direct observations of service delivery to verify individuals with developmental disabilities are receiving high quality services and supports.
