Job summary

Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, Chicago Read Mental Health Center, is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to lead quality assurance efforts. The role develops action plans to improve care, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with professional standards across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college.
• Three years of progressively responsible quality assurance and performance management administrative experience in health or human services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility-wide program for assessing, improving and managing the quality of care and reducing risk.
• Identify, develop, implement, coordinate and monitor action plans to resolve problems and improve quality of care.
• Collaborate with Hospital COO and Central Office Administration to meet accreditation standards.
