The State of Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking a Northern Region Quality Coordinator to lead Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) development across specified state-operated facilities. You will coordinate projects, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with professional standards.

You will collaborate with hospital quality managers to verify services meet accreditation standards, supervise a team, and prepare project reports for leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years college.
• Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a Quality Improvement field for a health or human services organization.
• Four (4) years of professional administrative experience performing quality control assessments and monitoring activities for a public or private business organization.
• Four (4) years of professional experience generating corresponding statistical and/or written reports and recommending and implementing policy changes because of those activities.
• Four (4) years of professional experience performing data and statistical analysis, assessments, and monitoring for a public or private business organization.
• Four (4) years of professional experience in the review of the mental health code and various accreditation and certification requirements for a health and human service organization.
• Three (3) years of professional supervisory experience assigning work, providing guidance to subordinates, recommending counseling and/or discipline following collective bargaining agreements, training staff, approving time off, and preparing and signing performance evaluations.
• Three (3) years of professional experience reviewing and evaluating project reports, verifying timely and accurate information for a public or private organization.

Aufgaben

• Serves as Northern Region Quality Coordinator.
• Collaborates with hospital quality managers to verify that services to persons with mental health needs meet professional/accreditation/regulatory standards.
• Serves as full-line supervisor.
• Assigns staff to present project reports to bureau, division, and hospital administrative staff.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
