Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Mexia, TX seeks a QIDP II Whiterock to oversee ISP processes for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will coordinate IDT meetings, document plans, and monitor treatment components within ICF/IID frameworks.

Responsibilities include leading interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely program revisions, and training staff. Strong organizational skills and computer proficiency with electronic records are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or a related human services field.
• At least one year experience working or volunteering directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities.
• Must pass fingerprint background checks, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks including CANRS and LEIE.
• All State Supported Living Center Employees may be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays; flexibility in hours.
• Males 18-25 must be registered with Selective Service; E-Verify and I-9 documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the ISP process for all individuals on the assigned caseload, including IDT meetings and annual ISP.
• Coordinates and facilitates participation of the individual and LAR with staff to develop and deliver supports.
• Monitors ISP implementation, assesses functioning, and makes recommendations for interventions.
• Trains and coaches staff, provides leadership, and serves as a role model in program implementation.
• Ensures documentation in electronic records, compliance with ICF/IID standards, and timely follow-up.
