Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional II at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center. This role centers on overseeing the ISP process and leading the interdisciplinary team to tailor supports for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or related field.
• At least one year of experience working or volunteering with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ISP process for all individuals on the caseload and facilitates IDT meetings.
• Ensures assessments identify functioning, preferences, strengths and needs.
• Coordinates with LAR and staff to deliver needed supports and services.
• Maintains timely follow-up on recommendations and ensures compliant documentation.
