Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional II to oversee ISP processes, coordinate IDT meetings, and monitor treatment plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the state centers. This role requires strong collaboration with families, staff, and clinical teams, plus documentation excellence.

Responsibilities include leading IDT meetings, ensuring assessments, and maintaining compliance with ICF/IID

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field.
• At least 1 year experience working with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ISP process for all individuals on the caseload and document IDT meetings.
• Coordinate and facilitate collaboration with the individual, LAR, and staff to develop needed supports.
• Monitor and evaluate ISP implementation and progress monthly.
• Train/coaches staff on service delivery and behavior management.
