Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a QIDP II at the Mexia State Supported Living Center to oversee the ISP process and lead the interdisciplinary team in delivering person-centered supports. This role requires coordinating assessments, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with ICF/IID standards.

You will work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviors, and participate in ongoing training to improve service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or a related human services field.
• At least one year experience working or volunteering directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ISP process for all individuals on the caseload, including facilitation of IDT meetings.
• Coordinate and monitor assessments to determine functioning, preferences, strengths, and needs.
• Ensure timely follow-up for recommendations and services.
• Train staff in program implementation and behavior management.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic records system in compliance with standards.
