Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional II (QIDP II) to oversee active treatment programs at the Timber Hill - QDDP site. You will coordinate, monitor, and document ISP processes, lead the IDT and ensure service quality for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, families, and professionals, adherence to ICF/IID standards, and data-driven program adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related human services field.
• At least 1 year experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ISP process for all individuals on caseload, preparing and documenting ISP meetings.
• Lead and coordinate the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and ensure timely follow-up of recommendations.
• Coordinate assessments to determine functioning, preferences, strengths, and needs; promote appropriate supports.
• Train staff and provide leadership across program areas; ensure compliance with ICF/IID standards and DOJ settlement requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and data in electronic systems; monitor ISP implementation monthly.
