Job description

The QC Technician - Lab Support Contractor plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day quality operations within the cGMP QC laboratories. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of GMP lab supply management, documentation and record keeping, lab equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, and general lab support. Additionally, the individual will ensure compliance with documentation practices and contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient laboratory environment. This position is based at our state-of-the-art facility in Lexington, MA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. GMP Supply Management
   • Stocking and Inventory Management
2. Documentation and Records Management
   • Create, manage, reconcile, scan, and archive QC controlled documentation
   • Generate, maintain, and archive equipment and system logbooks
3. Equipment Maintenance Support
   • Manage pipette calibration
   • Initiate general work order requests through Blue Mountain
   • Incubator/BSC cleaning support
4. General Lab Support and Reagent Preparation Support
   • Manage chemical/consumable expiry
   • Support glass wash
   • Biohazardous waste and sharps disposal
   • Support sample shipment
5. Additional Responsibilities
   • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or QC management
   • Adaptability required as work schedule may change based on business needs
   • Criminal background check required
