Job summary

IES is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for low-voltage systems, elevating craftsmanship and technical proficiency across projects. The role conducts field quality inspections and provides on-site support to project teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

You will work with operations leadership to drive quality across all low-voltage scopes, design site-specific quality plans, and ensure safety and adherence to

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of training experience or related role.
• Prefer a minimum of five (5) years of leadership or quality experience in telecommunications, electrical or related technical field.
• Prefer a BICSI certified trainer.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction through classroom training and hands-on field coaching.
• Lead site-specific Quality Plans and Site Startup processes tailored to each project.
• Support First-of-Kind (FOK) installations, conduct inspections, and obtain customer approval.
• Manage scheduling, tracking, inspection, and completion of quality checklists and input into platforms.
• Conduct, document, and report daily field walks focused on early quality issue detection.
