Job summary

IES Communications seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop and deliver low‑voltage trade training, build curriculum, and lead field quality inspections. You will support on-site teams, reinforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

The role requires at least 3 years in training or a related field, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to travel within territory. A BICSI trainer certification is preferred and a HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of training experience or related role.
• Prefer a minimum of five (5) years of leadership or quality experience in telecommunications, electrical or related field.
• Prefer a BICSI certified trainer.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction through classroom training and field coaching.
• Lead the development of site-specific Quality Plans and Site Startup processes.
• Support First-of-Kind installations, execute inspections, and obtain customer approval.
• Manage scheduling, tracking, inspections, and quality checklists in company platforms.
• Conduct daily field walks to identify quality issues and verify conformance.
• Use weekly reports to communicate project health and escalate risks.
• Participate in or lead project walkthroughs with customers and leadership.
• Maintain quality standards and enforce best practices.
• Design and implement training programs and revise existing ones.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for staff and students.
