Job summary

IES is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop and deliver training for low-voltage systems, building curriculum and field coaching to elevate craftsmanship and technical proficiency.

You will conduct field inspections, supervise site startup processes, and drive continuous improvement with operations leadership. Travel within branch/region as needed and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of training experience or related role.
• Prefer a minimum of five years of leadership or quality experience in telecommunications, electrical, or related field.
• BICSI certified trainer preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
• Must be able to effectively use basic hand tools and read project documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction through classroom training and hands-on coaching.
• Lead site-specific Quality Plans and Site Startup processes.
• Support First-of-Kind installations, inspections, and customer approvals.
• Manage quality checklists and input data into platforms.
• Conduct daily field walks to identify quality issues and verify conformance.
