Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services across electrical, mechanical, and communications contracting solutions. The Quality Training Specialist will lead trade-related curriculum development, training for new and existing teams, quality audits, and on-site support for IES projects.

The role emphasizes project management, instructional design, and the delivery of effective training programs with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of training experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in telecommunications, electrical, or related field preferred.
• BICSI-certified trainer preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops trade-related, project management, and delivery training in the classroom.
• Develops pre-employment, trade-related job skill assessments (hands-on and written).
• Prepares employees to accomplish job results by developing, planning, conducting, and evaluating management training.
• Conducts training needs assessments by analyzing procedures, workflow, and job-specific functions and tasks.
• Conducts training classes using computers, virtual classrooms, webinars, and other methods.
• Evaluates training effectiveness for specific job applications.
• Administers exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees.
• Maintains organizational standards to ensure quality service.
• Implements training processes and best practices that add value and improve performance.
• Keeps personal knowledge and course materials up to date.
• Works with the training team to design and implement new programs and revise existing ones.
• Ensures a safe and pleasant learning environment for staff and students.
