Job summary

IES Communications, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop, deliver, and maintain trade-specific training programs for low-voltage systems. You will create curriculum and learning paths to elevate craftsmanship and technical proficiency on field projects.

The role includes conducting field quality inspections, site startup processes, and on-site support to project teams; you will drive continuous improvement and enforce organizational standards across all low-voltage scopes.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of training experience or related role.
• Five years of leadership or quality experience preferred in telecom/electrical/construction.
• BICSI certification as trainer preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including MS Project.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to use basic hand tools and interpret project documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction for installation, handling, and testing.
• Lead site-specific Quality Plans and Site Startup processes.
• Support First-of-Kind installations, conduct inspections, and obtain customer approval.
• Schedule, track, inspect, and complete quality checklists across platforms.
• Document and report daily field walks to identify quality issues early.
• Provide on-site technical support and drive continuous improvement with leadership.
• Participate in project walkthroughs and enforce organizational standards.
• Design and revise training programs ensuring a safe learning environment.
