Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a maintenance technician for utility-scale PV plants in Kingstree/ Greeleyville, SC. You will monitor operations via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar systems, inverters, transformers, and metering equipment.

The role requires at least 1 year in a related position, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work safely with PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Assist with inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Perform maintenance procedures and document results; follow safety and environmental procedures.
