Job summary

NovaSource Power Services in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Full Time Technician to support the maintenance and operation of a utility-scale PV power plant.

Responsibilities include monitoring PV plant operation through SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems and SCADA.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC/DC PV systems.
• Work with inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear and metering systems.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout Tag Out and Job Hazard Analysis.
