Job summary

NovaSource Power Services in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Full-Time Technician to maintain utility-scale PV plants, monitor operation via SCADA, and perform commissioning, testing, and repairs of electrical systems.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma (college preferred), strong safety knowledge, and the ability to work independently and travel as needed. You will work with inverters, transformers, metering systems, and document maintenance in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience with utility-scale PV plant maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and tests.
• Perform commissioning, inspection, and repairs of PV systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and maintain documentation.
• Perform PM tasks and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
