Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer for the US Federal segment. You will be the customer interface for a new tech, working with the sales team on trials, demonstrations and business value.

You will educate prospects and customers and expand market awareness while aligning with Cisco’s broader networking and observability platforms. The role emphasizes supporting the technical sales process, detailing deployments, and presenting to decision makers during trial wrap-ups

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience.
• Experience selling into US Federal customers.
• Experience with HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP and BGP.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales in technical prospecting to uncover opportunities.
• Demonstrate solution to showcase capabilities and use-cases.
• Build and maintain a technical trusted advisor relationship with customers.
• Support customers during solution trials.
• Scope and architect solution deployments.
• Present to decision makers during trial wrap-up meetings.
• Participate in Solutions Engineering team activities.
• Interface with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success.
