Job summary
Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the Public Sector and Federal segment. You will be the customer interface for ThousandEyes, presenting during trials and opportunities and educating customers on how the product delivers AI-powered assurance and network telemetry.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Federal selling experience, and familiarity with network protocols and unified communications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience in federal/sederal-facing roles.
- Experience selling into US Federal customers.
- Experience with application and network protocols, including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP.
- Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure.
- Experience with unified communications technologies or solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the technical sales process by assisting prospecting and showcasing capabilities.
- Build and maintain a technical, trusted-advisor relationship with customers.
- Support customers during solution trials and present to decision-makers.
- Interface with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering.
- Coordinate with Customer Success to provide post-sales support.
- Help establish and enhance demonstration material and beta programs.
