Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our Public Sector and Federal team. You will partner with the sales force to present ThousandEyes capabilities during opportunities, guide customers through trials, and articulate value across domains including networking and application telemetry.

You will educate prospects and customers, help close deals, and contribute to expanding market awareness of ThousandEyes within Cisco’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience.
• Experience selling into US Federal customers.
• Experience working with application and network protocols, including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP.
• Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure.
• Experience working with unified communications technologies or solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales in technical prospecting to help uncover opportunities.
• Demonstrate solution to showcase capabilities and use-cases.
• Build and maintain a technical and trusted advisor relationship with customers.
• Support customers during solution trials.
• Scope and architect solution deployments.
• Present to decision makers during trial wrap-up meetings.
