Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes seeks a Sales Engineer to support the Public Sector and Federal segment. You will be the customer interface for ThousandEyes, partnering with the sales team to present the solution, demonstrate value during trials, educate prospects, and accelerate growth through market awareness and successful deployments.

Interface with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to share feedback, refine demonstrations, and help drive a scalable deployment strategy for US Federal

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience.
• Experience selling into US Federal customers.
• Experience with application and network protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP).
• Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure.
• Experience with unified communications technologies or solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales in technical prospecting to uncover opportunities.
• Demonstrate solution and showcase capabilities and use-cases.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and support trials.
• Scope and architect solution deployments and present to decision makers.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management and engineering for feedback and enhancement.
