Job summary
Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer to join our team supporting the Public Sector and Federal segment. You will interface with customers during trials and present ThousandEyes to drive business value, growth, and adoption.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, experience selling to US Federal customers, and strong knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP; you will collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience.
- Experience selling into US Federal customers.
- Experience with application and network protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP).
- Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure.
- Experience working with unified communications technologies or solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist sales in technical prospecting to uncover opportunities.
- Demonstrate ThousandEyes capabilities and use-cases.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customers.
- Support customers during solution trials.
- Scope and architect deployments.
- Present to decision makers during trial wrap-ups.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to share feedback.
- Coordinate with Customer Success for post-sales support.
